Heritage:
The Dal Broi origins date back to 1843, from the sought after prestige wine region of North Eastern Italy.
The Dal Broi's became outstanding leaders of industry and viticulture in Italy and now Australia. The art of winemaking dating back for centuries in Italy has been passed to current generations who continue to pursue perfection for their natural style of wines - celebrating the synergies of their wine with nature.
Leadership:
Today, the patriarch of the family empire is John Dal Broi whom was the mayor of Griffith and currently Chairman of the
Riverina Regional Development Board.
John has an outstanding career in community service, both in Australia and Italy where he was knighted for his services in 1990.
Activities:
The group is one of the biggest private companies operating in the Griffith region with activities, including
transportation and real estate and a "drilled down" focus for:
- Viticulture
- Rice
- Wheat
The group's current landholdings consist of over 1800 hectares and is the leading owner of rice fields and production in the territory.
Wine Activities:
Over the years, the Dal Broi's have produced significant quantities of quality fruit for the brands within the
stable of Evans and Tate and De Bortoli. This service is still ongoing.
Meanwhile, the Dal Broi's have appetite for further expansion and acquisition withing the region to enhance and achieve its aim of creating a fully integrated business unit - driven by a strong portfolio of icon and partner brands on a global basis.

Our Region - Griffith
Griffith is situated inland 570 km south west of Sydney, Australia.
The region enjoys outstanding growth and notoriety driven by its leading ambassador "Yellow Tail" brand of wines. However, other regional operators - De Bortoli, Evans and Tate, are also achieving global recognition for their wines originating from the region.
